About Us

The FIREPLACE DEPOT is a result of more than 30 years of Heating and Air Conditioning experience. McFarland Air Conditioning Corporation first opened it’s doors April 1, 1985. Mac [McFarland] began adding Hearth Products to his lines in the late ‘80’s. The addition met with such success Mac and Pat McFarland decided to offer an extended line of fireplaces and stoves, specializing in the importance of design and layout for their new customers.

There was born The FirePlace Depot, Inc. in early 2000. Now we not only offer Fireplaces, Stoves, and Inserts but all the products to support them; such as Hearth Pads, Venting Products, Mantels, Custom Doors, Outdoor Fireplaces and Fire Pits and maintenance items as well as our own installation and service teams. We are NFI Certified, The National Fireplace Institute® is the professional certification division of the HEARTH Education Foundation, a 501 c 3 non-profit educational organization for the hearth industry. NFI’s objective is to increase public safety by establishing meaningful credentials for professionals involved in planning and installing residential hearth appliance and venting systems.
